Mike - Mike was born with the voice of a 50 year old - the older egneration love it but his peers dispair at it. Mike explored a wide range of musicical styles, from Elgar to Elvis, whilst at Marlborough College. Know for his daft hairstyles and silly sunglasses, he has been working out his poses all year for the photoshoot. Mike's at Durham University studying Theology after spending the summer in Florence learning Italian. Duncan - Go Go Go! This lad never stops. If he’s not singing he’ll be dashing somewhere, swimming in The Solent, playing rugby, squash or planning his next adventure. He’s just returned from two months in Costa Rica where he worked as a conservation volunteer before backpacking around the country. Duncan will be studying Geography at Southampton University. Crispin - Crispin is the natural poseur of the group - and the one with the most fan-mail from the Heavenly Hunks Calendars. Having sung with the cathedral choir during his years at Portsmouth University, Crispin is currently working for an architectural practice in Sussex. He jumped at the chance to pose for another Heavenly Hunks photo shoot - and of course singing a few notes. Chris - Chris runs StopGap rehearsals with military precision. He tends to burst into song spontaneously and gets very excited when he sings a particularly high note. Chris also sings in The National Youth Choir of Great Britain where he has been involved in CD recordings, concerts with The Sixteen and a world tour. From September Chris will be starting a course in Vocal Studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music. Edd - Edd is the youngest and most unreliable member of the group. As Bass II, he’s there for all those sexy low notes. A former head chorister of the cathedral, Edd has just left school and is taking a gap year before going on to King’s London to study medicine. Famous for his enthusiastically depressive compositions and dodgy golf sweaters, he never goes anywhere without his trusty man-bag. Ian- Ian is a geography student at Portsmouth University studying Geography. During his time in Portsmouth Ian has been singing with the cathedral choir and propping up both sides of the bar at the local hostelry. Once Ian has decided that it’s time to pack his bags, he wishes to return to London, where he hopes to make his fortune. Tim - Tim is known amongst friends affectionately as the "Human Tuning Fork" - he’s always there to correct and support anyone in atonal distress! Having started out as young, innocent chorister at St. Paul's Cathedral, he is now a worldy ’rugged’-looking Baritone. He will be going to Bristol University to study Music. Life for Tim is best described as one big sing. Oliver - Oliver is a former head chorister of Portsmouth Cathedral. Unable to leave his much loved home town, he spent the first half of his Gap Year in Portsmouth before departing for the big city to work for the Conservative Party. He is going to study Politics at Trinity College Cambridge. However his future plans to be Prime Minister may have been scuppered by appearing in the calendar. David - David - Director of Music, at 36 he is the golden oldie of the Heavenly Hunks. While he was head chorister of Bath Abbey he decided that he wanted to be a Cathedral Organist. He studied at Trinity College of Music before working in Rochester Cathedral, Ely Cathedral and now Portsmouth Cathedral. He is married to Kitty whose brain child this was. When not conducting choirs or playing the organ he can be found driving around Europe in his Mini One. Nick - StopGap were aided and abetted by Nick Pepin for the recording of Heavenly Harmonies. Nick was a lay clerk at Portsmouth Cathedral before joining the ranks at Winchester Cathedral for ten years. He lectures in Geography at Portsmouth University and enjoys world travel.
